The team called off a fine season with a 15-25 loss to 11 time winners Cheshire at Solihull in the semi-final. Level at 15-15 going into the last session, our opponents were just too strong.

Format

To balance competitiveness with interest in ICC, it has been decided to only enter one team into the ICC for the forthcoming season.

The ESMBA have reverted back to the old format which means 20 players per team, with 2 teams per Single, Pairs, Triples and Fours discipline, which would mean finding an additional 8 players per weekend if we had entered 2 teams. This is not feasible for us. We have been drawn with Kent, Hertfordshire, and Essex who have withdrawn in the ‘Premier’ competition.
